Meet your local Chiropractor and Therapists
At Sona Chiropractic, our team is united by a shared intention — to create a calm, supportive space where people can feel safe, listened to, and genuinely cared for. While each practitioner brings their own skills and experience, we are connected by a common philosophy: that the body functions best when it feels supported, not forced.
Together, we offer chiropractic-led, integrated care designed to help individuals and families move from stress into ease — and come home to their bodies.

Maya Irvine
Sports Massage Therapist
Hello, I’m Maya, a Level 4 Sports Massage Practitioner based at Sona Chiropractic in Kirriemuir, Angus. I’m currently completing my final year of a BSc (Hons) Sport Science degree, which has strengthened my understanding of how the body moves, adapts, and recovers.
I provide sports massage in Kirriemuir, using evidence-based techniques including traditional sports massage and Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilisation (IASTM) to support recovery, improve mobility, and reduce muscular tension.
As an active football player, my interest in injury prevention and rehabilitation grew from personal experience — and I’m passionate about helping others return to sport and daily life with confidence.
Soft Tissue Therapist
Struan Hastie
Hi, I’m Struan Hastie, a soft tissue therapist, pole vaulter, and athletics coach based at Sona Chiropractic in Kirriemuir, Angus. My journey into soft tissue therapy began through sport, following my own experiences with injury and rehabilitation. These experiences gave me first-hand insight into how injury affects movement, confidence, and overall function.
As a soft tissue therapist in Angus, I work with individuals experiencing muscular pain, tightness, sports injuries, and postural strain. My aim is to support recovery by improving muscle function, reducing tension, and helping you move with greater ease — so you can return to doing what you love.
Massage Therapist
Ainsley Smith
Hi, I’m Ainsley Smith, a qualified massage therapist in Kirriemuir, Angus, offering Swedish massage and hot stone massage at Sona Chiropractic. With a Diploma in Swedish Massage, I take a calm, caring approach, tailoring each treatment to the individual — whether your goal is easing muscular tension, reducing stress, or simply taking time to relax and reset.
My interest in massage grew from a genuine passion for physical and mental wellbeing and the positive impact therapeutic touch can have. I find it incredibly rewarding to help clients feel more comfortable in their bodies and leave feeling lighter and more at ease.
Outside of work, I enjoy mountain biking, strength training, and exploring the outdoors — bringing that same appreciation for balance and movement into every treatment.
